Mark also served as Managing Director, OHL (now Geodis) for the ASEAN region with gross revenues of over US$100 million across seven countries and multiple business units.<\/p>\n
During his 16-year tenure with MSAS\/Exel\/DHL, he served in several roles from Regional Management to Vice President at MSAS\/Exel and Senior Vice President for Integration, Business Process and Innovation for DHL in the Asia Pacific region.<\/p>\n
His responsibilities included finance systems, e- commerce, business development, Account management, Supply Chain Solutions and their subsequent implementation, integration of Exel and DHL business units in Asia and Business Process Improvement. At Exel, Mr. Patel headed up and established Asian RFID and Innovation centers, oversaw e-solutions to benefit and add value to Exel\/DHL customers, and facilitated expanding services to include organic growth and innovation.<\/p>\n
He is one of the founding members of the Rosetta Net Logistics Council and was elected Global Chairman for the first three years. Mr. Patel also served on various iDA (now IMDA) sub committees for Logistics and Supply Chain.<\/p>\n
Mark is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). He is a huge believer in CSR and supports several orphanages in South East Asia.<\/p>\n
